The Fight Within Me

A Korean War Story

What does it mean to fight for freedom when you are not free?

A Narrative Short Film & Limited Series Proof of Concept

a story we cannot afford to lose.

More than 600,000 Black Americans served in the Korean War. Over 5,000 gave their lives while being denied basic civil rights at home.

Many enlisted not only out of duty — but to escape racial violence and systemic exclusion in the American South.

Their sacrifices helped shape modern Korea.

These stories were never fully absorbed into American history.

PARTNER WITH US

The Fight Within Me restores a chapter of history that was never fully absorbed into the American narrative.

This is not a traditional war film. It is a meditation on memory, survival, and legacy.
